Pastor James Zozzaro has been pastor of Christ the King since 1995. Pastor Zozzaro shepherds the church through preaching on Sundays, teaching at weekly Bible studies, and personal and family counseling, among other ministries. Along with Pastor Zozzaro, Calvary also has one elder, Dustin Phillips. In having more than one man to teach, lead, and care for God’s people, we are trying to follow the example of the apostle Paul, who appointed more than one elder in the churches he established (Acts 14:23). According to the Bible, along with having elders to lead God’s people, it is important to have deacons to care for people in need. This is why the apostles appointed deacons (Acts 6; see also 1 Timothy 3).
Our presently active deacons are Norm Beisher and Rich Seither.
